John, who stays in our caravan club site regularly, caught this whopping 15.5lb carp yesterday. You can see more photos of other fishermen in our fishing photo album.

In other news, the cattle are now all in the barns away from the cold and wet and Tess is shaping up to be a good farm dog. She's been great at helping to gather the sheep.

We're currently refurbishing the downstairs bathroom in Meadows - photos to come soon!

Hope you like our new website and haven't had any problems finding us! We don't want to bore you with technical details but there were a few issues migrating over - but we're happy with the new feel. As this is our first post, we're not quite sure what we'll write about, but we'll probably just give you an update on what's currently going on at the farm, so please bear with us!

With Christmas fast approaching, we're getting ready for winter - you can certainly tell the difference in temperature over the last few days. The last of the cattle will soon be in the barns. We've also been busy cutting back some branches and trees down by the lake and caravan site. Not only does this tidy up some areas, but it'll give some wood to keep us warm during the long winter evenings!
